Exploring Communication and Networks Using Social Network Analysis

Programme management’s importance is increasing, particularly in the public sector, because of government promotion PM. However, its novelty means PM an under-researched organizational form.This case with application studied here for asset management utility sector unique setting a heavily-regulated monopoly.This study focuses on programme that comprises company and eight contractor partners, explores how communication networks are influenced by affiliation, seniority, technical nature work geographical proximity. Social network analysis used participative, cross-sectional networks.The reveals association content has noteworthy influence individual’s positioning network.
